City of Salisbury · Road Safety Park

Capturing the opening, and the kids who made it.

The City of Salisbury opened a new Road Safety Park at Happy Home Reserve - a purpose-built circuit where kids learn road rules on bikes and scooters, complete with real crossings, signals and line markings.

The brief was open; capture the vibe of the opening weekend, and come away with a library of content the council could use across its channels.

An open brief like this is really a question of what to point the camera at. We decided the story was the kids.

Across the opening weekend, groups worked through the course with Bikes SA. We filmed and photographed both sessions and stayed close to the action.
