Fairmont Stories · 60th Anniversary Campaign

For their 60th anniversary, Fairmont Homes invited past clients, builders and trades to share the stories that had become part of its history.

The resulting campaign centred on three Fairmont households. Through personal interviews and footage captured inside their homes, each film explored the memories, relationships and everyday moments that turn a house into something much more.

An anniversary campaign can quickly become a timeline of milestones, designs and houses built.

Fairmont’s history doesn’t only belong to the business. It lives inside thousands of South Australian homes and in the people who have made their lives there.

The films needed to celebrate that legacy without becoming overly polished or sentimental. They had to feel warm, honest and recognisably human.

Sixty years is an impressive number, but our job was to make it personal.

Three homes. Three stories. One quietly significant legacy.

We produced three documentary-style films featuring Fairmont homeowners and the lives they had built inside their homes.

Working with a small crew allowed us to keep each shoot relaxed and personal. Carefully filmed interviews were paired with simple, observational footage of the people, objects and spaces that carried each story.

The homes weren’t treated as display pieces. They were filmed as lived-in spaces, filled with history, personality and evidence of the lives unfolding inside them.
